Iceland

I want to give some advice if you're going to the beautiful country of Iceland and are going to visit this amazing country and of course are going on the amazing hikes this beautiful country has. I would recommend staying on Reykjavik and there are many great hotels. I will recommend "The Reykjavik Edition" for checking out the town before your hiking. You have to check out the blue lagoon if you're going to Iceland so its a bit of a tourist trap but hey its worth the experience. From there you want to plan out which Hikes you plan on doing and if you're going to do the epic Laugavegur then I suggest you reserve either tents and or the huts along the way. It's a 33.4 mile hike so you'll need to have at least three layers, water shoes, hiking boots, white out gear in case, plenty of food for at least 4 days just in case. Also, start with a gallon of water but you be able to fill up along the way as Iceland's stream are clean and fresh water. The following photos were from three hikes were did that were a substitute to the Laugavegur because life happens and we had a plan just in case we could make the epic hike. Also if your going to Laugaveger than I would take the bus from your hotel as most rent a cars can't make the J roads and the water crossings to the start of the hike. Email me with any questions on Iceland the the hikes we took.
